Yes, yes, I’m a geek. I had to buy this mouse though! It was $50 at Best Buy, but only $40 at Newegg.com (and free shipping, no tax).
I’ve never actually bought anything specifically for gaming before, so I’m fairly excited. The extra buttons will come in handy.
So far, it feels pretty good: I used it at my friend’s place whenever I played Fury a few months ago.

If you’re a fan of Adam Sandler, then you should know what to expect with this movie. How he’s so goofy, yet badass at the same time in this movie is beyond me. They don’t even try to make anything seem realistic, which was a good choice, because this type of movie really doesn’t need it.
There’s a hot girl, great comedic timing, witty dialogue, and a special celebrity appearance that’s actually not tacky. The movie is chock full of running gags, stereotype jokes, and some really bad moments where you want to shut your eyes from the grossness, but not all-the-way closed because you kind of want to see what’s on the screen just because you’re slightly masochistic. Yeah, it’s one of those.
I give it an 8/10. I’d definitely recommend seeing it; it’s a great filler movie for you to tide yourself over until The Dark Knight comes out…*drools*
One thing that I’ve never understood is why in the world cashiers hand you your receipt before handing you the change. Instead of making life easy and handing you the coins first, where they can rest snuggly in the palms of your hands, these people decide to test you with the mini-game of “Balance Shit on a Piece of Paper”.
I can’t possibly be the only one irritated by this. It’s like they purposefully put the coins on top of the receipt just to watch you squirm and try to keep everything in your hand from falling off. Heaven forbid these people show some common sense and make things easier for the customer.
But there’s also the chance that it’s these companies that are training the cashiers to do this. Once again, I’ve no idea why. So I’ve come to the highly logical conclusion:
Fuck the government.

It’s been upwards of 90 degrees lately, and I am dying from this heat. I can barely take two steps outside without taking a salty shower. My A/C is starting to ask for overtime pay. This is a really cool video. I never got into the whole drawing thing, but I can still appreciate the level of talent needed for this.

Saw this movie last night, and it wasn’t too bad. Story goes like this: High-class business woman wants child, woman is infertile, hires surrogate mother, hilarity ensues.
There’s definitely a lot of cute moments in the movie, and I wouldn’t really label it as a chick flick, but it’s very close. If you’re thinking of dragging your boyfriend/husband to the theatres, they probably wouldn’t mind watching it, and there’s lots of comic relief from the token black guy too.
7/10. Nothing special, but a good movie anyways.
