Sara Bareilles Concert
I SAW SARA BAREILLES IN CONCERT!!! I can die an extremely happy man now. Except for the two hideously bad opening acts (David Ford and Rachel Yamagata), it was just spectacular. She sang all of her songs on the CD except for One Sweet Love and City (the two songs I care the least about), along with a couple new songs. One is called August Moon, which I believe she said was from her old CD, and the other was a rendition of Genie in a Bottle by Christina Aguilera.
Sara was pretty funny too. For example, when her bandmates walked off stage because she was going to do a piano-only song, she said, very proudly, “and now we’re getting all the non-vagina’s off the stage”. Another time, some girl was screaming, full out, for about 8 seconds between songs, so Sara exclaimed, “Looks like someone just had a baby!”
At the end of the concert, I shouted, “I LOVE YOU SARA!!!” just so I could say that I’ve said that to her at one point in my life.
